For those into anime, this is a relatively new one with great potential in my opinion. It's got some magic-related themes without being dramatically out there. The writers seem fascinated with the out-of-body experience and the astral realm. Neat stuff.

I won't bore you with a synopsis, but it does get the Charles Atlas Seal of Approval! If you're interested, look up Ghost Hound and Shinsen subs, the fan subbing group that releases the episodes to us that don't speak the Nipponese.
